I am an education professional with a diverse background and extensive experience in the field. My educational journey began at Government College University, Faisalabad, Pakistan, where I earned an M.Phil. Degree in Education. Building upon this foundation, I pursued doctoral studies in Comparative Education at Northeast Normal University in China. My dedication and academic excellence were recognized with university and national outstanding student awards in China.
I have held various educational roles throughout my career, including serving as a senior teacher at the District Public School and college in Okara, Pakistan. During my tenure at this institution, I led the Social Studies Department and actively engaged in scholarship outreach initiatives, such as delivering public lectures and serving as an invited speaker.
Additionally, I contributed to the field of education as a distance academic tutor/resource person for an extensive period at Allama Iqbal Open University in Islamabad, Pakistan. My commitment to education led me to work as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the School of Education, Shaanxi Normal University, China, for two years. Following this, I took on the role of an Associate Professor at Yulin University in China.
I am proud to serve as an Associate Professor at UNITAR International University in Malaysia. In a voluntary capacity, I am Secretary for the International Council of Associations for Science Education (ICASE), reflecting my dedication to global educational initiatives.
My research interests span a broad spectrum, including Distance Education and Teacher Education, English Language Teaching, ICT, Online Learning, MOOCs, STEM Education, ELM, and Science Education. I am an active contributor to the academic community, with publications across several domains. Furthermore, I am a sought-after presenter at local, national, and international conferences, sharing insights on reciprocal learning, rural education, distance and online education, and emerging educational technologies.
I am passionate about advancing education and fostering meaningful collaborations in the field. Let’s connect to explore opportunities for innovation and progress in education.

Global

ICASE is a global organization with support from UNESCO, making “global” an appropriate descriptor in this context.

Collaborative

Since ICASE collaborates with various organizations to promote science and technology education, “collaborative” stands out as a fitting descriptor.

Leadership

As stated in ICASE’s strategic plan, excellence and leadership in science education are targeted goals. Therefore, “leadership” could be a suitable descriptor for ICASE.

Development

Given ICASE’s aim to increase scientific and technological literacy for sustainable development, “development” could be an appropriate term to describe ICASE’s core activities.
