Sustainability / Environmental Education Standing Committee
Message from Chair:
Elaine Horne, elaine.horne@dec.wa.gov.au
Welcome to
the website of the Sustainability / Environmental Education Standing
Committee.
Join us in
working together to promote good decisions about our Earth. I
encourage science educators to help students and the community learn
about critical environmental issues and actions that they can
undertake to reduce human impacts on the planet.
S/EE works
through the national associations of science teachers or educators,
so to make your very important contribution, please join your local
science teachers association to take action and be part of our
success.
Various
activities will be posted on this website so check here regularly
for other ways to be involved. For example in the 2013 World
Conference on Science and Technology Education (September 29-October
3, 2013, Kuching, Malaysia)
