Proposed Projects and Activities
1.Develop online resources contributed from all ICASE members
and regions
2.Complete a survey of members on what this committee can do to help
3.Organize a Safety in Science Education strand of contributed
papers for the next world conference and other ICASE events.
4.Hold the 2nd International Conference on Safety in Science
Education in conjunction with the next ICASE world conference (needs
written proposal)
5.Provide continuing education/professional development/learning
opportunities adjacent to ICASE world conferences and other events.
6.Sell Safety in Science Education Publications in ICASE Store
(written proposal)
7.Include Safety in Science Education keynote presentations at
conference and meetings
8.Use new ICASE discussion list for conversation about Safety in
Science Education
9.Consider other events that can engage ICASE.
10.Offer ICASE members and their members a discount for registration
at LSI lab safety courses if they use the ICASE registration code
found on the ICASE website or newsletter.
11.Assist ICASE member organizations and other science education
organizations with forming and developing their own Safety
Committees.
